Can anyone please advise me if you can fit 19" staggered alloys onto Z3 without modifying wheel arches

Cheers tony

Pretty sure you could Tony, but I for one would not. Dreadful ride would ensue. I can't recall anyone on here who has them on a Z3, but there may be someone.

Tony.

Reckon like Tony says 19' s will probably give a harsh ride as you would have to go with 35 aspect ratio on front and 30 on rear
That's not a lot of sidewall one good pothole and that's a cracked wheel in the last month I have failed 2 cars for cracked wheels both 19" on rear and both on Bmw's a 2015 z4 and a 2012 5 series admittedly they both had run flat tyres but even with standard tyres not a lot of give in a 30 series sidewall

I ran 19s on my Z3 for 5 years without issue, even on our pothole ridden roads, and they have now been on the missus's Z4 for a year also.

But then again, they are cheap aftermarket wheels, rather than that expensive BMW rubbish...... =))

the only thing with 19s is, when I drive over a 5 pence piece, I can tell if its facing heads or tails up,

Actually in Nefyn. My, that took a while.
Model of Z
2.2i Sport
Nowt wrong with 19s, entirely happy with mine, no real difference in the ride from the original 17s. And they're BMW ones, e46 M3 if I remember rightly. Not broken one yet, but there's always a chance of that. Luckily in Wales we have super-smooth roads.

19" wheels on my z3 when I bought it........very harsh ride with tramlining, maybe because of the suspension as mine is a 2.2i sport.
Changed to 17" and the ride is much better.

Running 19” MV4 - Style 313 on mine.

Wheels are:
Front - 19x8 ET37
Rear - 19x9 ET39

Tyres are:
Front - 225/35/19
Rear - 255/30/19

Feels a bit heavier on the steering (not much), but feel great and holds the road well.

I’ve made no modification to make them fit.
