Lifes just got in the way of all the good stuff this year, health and the likes.
Not had time for anything think i have only sat in the zed twice since June, its been topless in the garage

I replied to this post and posted pictures but yet when I go to this thread, I don't see it. What am I doing wrong or do I not have access to something?
Had 19s and they were too much - too close to the wheel arch. Flat tyre experience on the Motorway persuaded me to switch. Now am on the M3 18s with Continentals, and very happy: roadholding is grippy and tight, and the car sits nicely on the road. No tramlines yet...

Go for a set of both, I run 17's in the winter and 18's in the summer. I don't really find a massive difference, the ride is a little nicer on the 17's. I don't suffer any tramlining at all, have 4 matching tyres on my 18's but different sets front and rear on the 17's which are also winter tyres.

Same here Dave, got a quote from the Ayatollah today for £54 each all inc. for Evergreen Winter tyres. These will be on till April next year and then the 108s will be put back on.

I will have to check what winter tyres I have as I'll probably need a new set next time round. I know the rears are Dunlop Sports but can't remember the fronts, they maybe Evergreen but that could have been the standard ones that were on them before. I picked these up off eBay as part worns which had only been used for 1 winter that were on a Merc with the same staggered sizes.
We've been running Evergreens on Shirl's Eos for 3 years mate as standard tyres, they wear well and are fairly quiet too. I'll be outing a new pair on the back of it next week. VWs have a propensity to wear the insides just like Z3 do, they are adjustable but by the time you find the problem the camber adjusting bolts are seized in the bushes and this invariably means two new rear lower arms and a set of new nuts, bolts and concentric washers.
