17" or 18"

Hi all,what are your thoughts on 17 and 18 inch wheel. I have 17 at the moment but like the stance of the 18s. Dont want the tramline experience again! Any thoughts?

I'm on 18's and would prefer 17's to be honest. Love my wheels but I'd rather have a tad more room to play with.

Think 17 is really the max for the Z3. 18s generally look too big IMO.

I had 18s on my last Z and never again, my new one is stock 17s, I had a right game getting rid of the tram lining, got it pretty good in the end but it was scary on motorway when it picks up the ware lines from trucks, it really is unnerving when your car slews sideways at high speed

18's on mine and love 'em. No tramlining, goes round corners a treat and sticks to the road like the proverbial. A bit crashy on poor road surfaces due to the 30mm drop but manages the worst the Lake District can offer in her stride.

I would like to think 18s would be ok on the 2.8 as every part of the rubber and suspension is brand new
