New shocks seem to be a good idea for a prezzie.

M Sport suspension fitted from the factory, any benefit in going lower ?

Happy 15th birthday @N4LLY Zed. Dropped mine by 30mm on Bilsteins and Eibach springs. Worked a peach though some of that would be down to old shocks/springs.
