Yippee!

So, it's my turn for 1,000 posts just a few hours after Gail achieved hers.

Now I'm going to bore you... =))

I managed to get out top down for an hour or two this afternoon. There's a few things on the list of little problems to be sorted. So, out I went to try and get one of them sorted. On the way I did a few videos. Two are still uploading to You-tube so I'll attach them later (its being very slooooowwww!). This first one is relatively short and is a Stop-motion video of the journey out. It's actually a JPEG image every 0.5 sec compiled into a video. Makes the journey like the London-Brighton train journey film we saw as kids.

Theres a couple more proper vids later. Will add them in the thread when ready.

Which dashcam are you using as I'm thinking about getting one

This was the GoPro. Incredibly flexible bit of kit but it's not a dash cam with GPS etc. It has to be carefully set up before you use it.

I use a Nextbase 512G in the LR. It comes on with the ignition - you don't need to worry about it.

I'm still looking for a solution for the Zed - I'd rather have one with fixed cams and separate DVR hidden away somewhere. The only one i found isn't Mac friendly:-(

:scorecard:Congratulations @Redline :scorecard:
:scorecard:On reaching your 1000 posts :scorecard:

Congrats Ian, here's to the next 1,000.:drinks:

Must be something in the water at your house.;) Congratulations on the milestone Ian.

Tony.

Double yammy at yours today then! Go on, take yourselves out for a meal and celebrate!!! :D

Nice one, keep on posting.

Gonna have to rethink the videos. I had Led Zeppelin playing at the time. YouTube has killed the audio due to copyright. But, the backing track of a 6 pot singing isn't copyrighted. No point in loading it now if you can't hear it too.

You'll have to miss out on the thrills of a cross country jaunt, also missing the cyclists, the grumpy farmer, the grumpy cyclist, the ducks and swans, and finally, the real killer - the chicken crossing the road.

It all happens in Leicestershire!!!
