Just did mine. Symptoms were car running cold on the move and hot at idle. It's a simple enough job but the main reason for posting was to let people know the stat is on offer at ECP for about £26 at the moment. It's a Circoli so a reputable brand.

Hi
I am in the process of collating info on parts - whether good or bad.
Please can you advise in a few months time, after you have had sufficient experience on the part you have used, on its qulaity? Also engine size etc - but this doesn't need your VIN nos etc just enough info so as to be of help identifying the part to the engine you have.
Many Thanks
Brian

Hi
I am in the process of collating info on parts - whether good or bad..........
For info - Changed mine last year as a precaution whilst changing water pump, viscous fan and coolant. Removed unit was a Mahler/Behr and had done ~25k and was still in good condition and is now in the `spares box'. Replaced like for like and have done ~5k on new one. Bought from bmwmotormec's ebay outlet - £29. HTH

Hi Brian

It's the 1.9 engine. I'll certainly report back if I still have the car in a few months. Initial impressions were completely favourable. Fit was perfect and the cooling issue was fixed immediately.
