I really can't imagine anything more dangerous than cruise control on a motorcycle. I so want to comment more in this thread but don't want to bog down others....
 
I don't understand why anyone would want to have cruise control on a bike. They are NOT for "cruising" on a motorway, they're for zipping about the twisty bits. At an entirely legal and sensible speed, of course, officer.
Said the bloke with an Enfield who lives just along from Snowdonia.:)
