roof bar roof drops

I have a 51 plate. With a manual roof (or well it is now). Only issue, is the bar of the roof, the one nearest the boot, does not seem to retract back into it's place properly, and thus the roof, looking from the outside,sinks/drops a bit and doesn't look great. I get the feeling if this bar...
