can you just connect the wires already there for the cigarette lighter? I have bought a usb socket like yours but has an inbuilt on off switch

any issues with battery drain? red to positive and brown to negative?

you have a plug in adapter as per google search or a replacement for the cig lighter?

thanks, the cigarette lighter is corroded inside anyway. so going to have to swap it

remove cigarette lighter and replace with a usb. can this be done via the gear stick area, save removing the centre console. what usb charger to replace it with. any experience or ideas welcome

is the stereo for sale?

my car came with triangle (the name not the shape :) ) tyres. followed the advice and went for Avon zv 7 as dean b states, a different car. I loved it with the rubbish tyres, the improvement is significant. particularly the braking never mind the feel and feedback
