Finally after getting the car sprayed and using it now deciding what to do with it over the winter months. My list so far!
  1. Refurb the wheels and decided to stay with silver
  2. Lanoguard the underside & probably replace the jacking points
  3. Have a go at building an exhaust as the original one keeps developing leaks
  4. Going to fit Zedonist angel eyes
  5. Fix the glovebox
  6. Change the seat bushes and whilst seats out re-dye and treat them
  7. Remove tint from rear lights (Proving to be a PITA tbh)
And then anything else that breaks randomly whilst it sits in the garage

Really need to make some room in the garage to able to do anything 😬 but list is.

1 - Remove BBS reps for a rim polish.
2 - Clean underside, check sills, repair some historic speed bump scrapes on floor.
General tidy up and rustproof.

Just got a new shed (another one) and emptied the garage into that...but with 2 cars in it not enough room to swing a cat!

Really must get the seats out to a) do the bushes and b) re-dye the seats.

My drivers seat is like a rocking chair every time I put my foot down the steering wheel moves further away and when I break I get closer! Great if you have arms like stretch armstrong

Comedy =)) A quick fix to give 'stretch' a break.

I'm still elbows deep in my ReBody project. I started work last winter and still no end in sight. Weird that it's not finished because I spend a few hours most days out there in the garage. Having said that it's my fault because I've spent a lot of time on things that really didn't need doing.

So. Another winter out there in a cold garage dressed like Nanook of the North (whoever he is)

This will be the second Winter of owning my Z3. I would like to cover more than the 2 yards it has ventured since I had it delivered (I didn't even collect it).

Not likely, though. My main concern is the 3/4 tank of petrol which is going stale and going to clog up the injectors at some point.

The Z4 will be used by the wife but only on dry days. She takes my F31 on rainy/ cold days.

Ill be keeping mine out of the vicious winter sun and blistering heat... driving only in the mornings, with a good hat......
After all it was her birthday last month, and I'm sure she didn't like the 25 little fires I lit on the rocker cover.

Having got the major mechanicals sorted this summer i think I need to work on a few cosmetic items.
1) Wheel refurb as original paint flaking on the inside (outside look fine)
2) Bonnet dents removed, respray and realignment
3) Think about a new hood..might not get past the thinking stage mind
4) New windscreen

Got new bonnet catches and cables to fit as well and as that involves headlight removal may as well give them a shine.

I would love to drop the rear subframe and get the beam & trailing arms powder coated, fit poly bushes, braided brake lines etc. But I will probably wuss out and just tuck it away until March/April

It's so nice to hear all the nice plans but my plans are to drive it to work one more year as it is my daily  Hopefully from next year I will have a shitbox to drive to work and keep my Zed only for fun stuff but until then... she will have to endure :depressed: At least she is fully undercoated with that disgusting goo that keeps rust away and makes working on the car disgusting 😂

But some upgrades are coming in Autumn like: mud flaps, rear magnetic covers and LCA poly bushes

Done so much this year already and the cost has been painful. Only job left is cleaning underneath and applying Lanoguard

Love driving with the roof down on a cold winters day, heater blasting out hot air on the way to a pub with a real fire blazing away.
