Oh sorry no. I haven't got one in this car I had one in my previous car with the hard roof but not this one.
Why would someone remove the shelf in the boot? Does the switch light up when you press the button? When you say previous car with hard roof we’re not mixing that up with a coupe I assume? Did the roof work when you bought the car?

Why would someone remove the shelf in the boot? Does the switch light up when you press the button? When you say previous car with hard roof we’re not mixing that up with a coupe I assume? Did the roof work when you bought the car?

E89 mate folding hard top mate is being referred to in the previous comment.

The shelf hasn't been removed, it was never there in the first place lol. Yes worked perfectly. Thank you

Very strange the shelf being removed. Just to clarify you dont have two knobs in the boot upper right and upper left sides?

Is the roof motor in original position really common for drowning due to water ingress they get moved into the left hand boot area to protect them from this issue .

I don't have a z4 only z3 but I'm assuming all the electric windows need to work before the roof goes down.
A @t-tony do the roof motors show a fault when they fail.

Sorry the roof wasn't removed it wasn't in there to begin with. It worked perfectly
