Z3 boot luggage

Have been looking at luggage requirements for forthcoming trip to Lake Garda - I'm sure a lot of you guys have already done the research especially the Euro trip crews. So what is the best luggage fit for the boot?
Have been looking at these - http://www.roadsterbag.co.uk/BMW-Roadsterbag-luggage.html has anybody else used them?

PS - plastic carrier bags are not a suitable alternative

Hi,

I bought a Z4 set of these for a friend for his 40th. All I can say is he loved them and then they are very nice.
Company are very easy to deal with and once ordered they were on my doorstep 2 days later.

I guess it depends what you are taking and how much. I've always used sports bags, as you can mold them to the shape of you car, and can stuff other items in between.

There are various tricks like using a suit bag for shirts, jackets etc and putting this behind the seats. Perfect for your tuxedo and ball gowns I would say...

I always send my ball gowns on ahead by special courier In relation to `how much I'm taking' - if my wife is true to form then the answer is a lot and too much.

Dedicated luggage is OK but doesn't leave much room to add purchases en route. We've always used a pair of soft holdalls which push nicely into the rear of the boot especially if the one against the bulkhead has less in it (that one will be yours no doubt!)
You should then have enough room for a cool bag and other incidentals.
The other trick is to remove the storage bin in the rear o/s corner and put your spare bulbs, polishing cloths and quick detailer etc out of the way.

Got a set of these for my Z3 brilliant bit of kit, provided you dont have the multi changer in the boot? get loads in them (enough for two people for two weeks) and good quality .

Thanks for info. My boot lining is prepared for multi changer but I do not have one fitted. I was looking at whether I could modify liner to `flatten' the lump.

Will be doing this to Rosie when I remove the CD changer which I won't use ever. I'm thinking I can reuse the lining out of my 2.0 which didn't have a CD play once the autochanger bracket has been removed...

Good idea - may be as simple as liner out/luggage in and viceversa.
