Diagnostic cable comments please

Hi I recently joined the forum, my car is a 1997 Z3 with the 1.9 M44 engine, does anyone have experience of the following tool will it be OK for my car or are there better options.

I've not used ISTA on the older cars, I use BMW Scanner on my 97 1.9. I have also have INPA which I have used for diagnostics but I find BMW Scanner easier to use. I've written various posts in BMW Scanner and INPA on my website http://rixham.co.uk
